Alabama Music Eduators Association
This is the official web-site of the Alabama Music Educators Association. Membership in the AMEA is open to all public, private, and post-secondary music educators as well as private teachers. AMEA provides in-service opportunities for its members and educational opportunities for the music students in our state. Members of our organization strive to ensure the future of music education. Recruitment, rejuvenation, and retention are key in helping to continue providing superior music education in Alabama. These are the foundations upon which our organization will continue to grow.
Bands of America (BOA)
A nonprofit organization that organizes many marching band competitions for high school students, including regional and national events. Its largest event is the Grand National Championships, an annual competition currently held in the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, which attracts nearly 100 high school marching bands from around the country.
Drum Corps International (DCI)
From modest beginnings more than three decades ago, Drum Corps International has developed into a powerful, nonprofit, global youth activity with far-reaching artistic, educational and organizational influence. Through the annual Summer Music Games Tour and more than 35 World Championships in 16 North American cities, Drum Corps International provides entertainment to millions through live performances and nationally-televised events. Drum Corps International is Marching Music's Major League™.

Saint James School
Saint James is an independent, nonsectarian, college preparatory school with a student body broadly representative of college-bound students. They are committed to challenging and assisting students in realizing their individual potential and preparing them for lives of responsibility, service, and achievement. Saint James School promotes the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and cultural development of their students. Their educational program provides students with opportunities to develop maturity, self-confidence, skills and knowledge preparing them to attain their highest level of individual potential.
